🚢 All Sea Training Weekend – HMCS STAR (Hamilton)
7–8 February 2026
Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps (RCSCC) Warspite is pleased to announce an All Sea Training Weekend taking place at HMCS STAR in Hamilton. This overnight training opportunity is open to all Warspite cadets and will include seamanship-focused training alongside cadets from other Sea Cadet Corps.
This weekend is an excellent opportunity for cadets to build skills, gain experience, and train in a collaborative environment outside of our home ship.

⏰ Schedule
Drop-Off:
Saturday, 7 February @ The Ship – 0630h
Bus departs promptly at 0645h
Please ensure cadets arrive on time, having already eaten breakfast.
Pick-Up:
Sunday, 8 February @ The Ship – 1630h
👕 Dress
C5 – Sea Training Uniform for travel and the weekend
Cadets must ensure their uniform is clean, complete, and serviceable.
🧭 Who Can Attend
This weekend is open to all cadets. Training will be conducted jointly with other Sea Cadet Corps. Cadets who are unsure about their participation or have questions should speak with their Divisional Petty Officer (DPO).
🧳 Required Kit List
Cadets must bring all required items packed in a single bag or duffel. All items must be clearly labelled.
Uniform & Clothing
• C5 Sea Training Uniform (worn)
Incudes jacket/parka, blue shirt, black t-shirt, ball cap, belt, pants, swat boots,
• Spare/evening civilian clothing (comfortable, weather-appropriate)
• Sleepwear
• Underwear and socks (for entire weekend)
• Indoor sports footwear or slippers
Bedding
• Sleeping bag
• Pillow
• Small blanket (optional)
• Ground mats will be supplied
• Large bedding items may be left at the ship.
Personal Care
• Towel and toiletries
• Toothbrush and toothpaste
• Soap / shampoo / deodorant
• Any personal hygiene items required
Training & Personal Items
• Refillable water bottle
• Notebook and pen
• Watch (recommended)
• Small backpack or day bag
Medication
• Any required medication in original packaging
• All medication must be declared and handled in accordance with cadet medication procedures
• Required forms must be completed in advance
Bring At Your Own Risk
• Electronics / Cell Phone
• Valuable items

• Cadets are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times
• This is an overnight activity; attendance for the full weekend is expected
• If you cannot attend the full weekend, your parents are responsible for coordination.
• Cadets must follow all staff instructions and corps standards
• Any updates or changes will be communicated through normal channels
