Our final cadet activity before summer stand down will be supporting Royal Canadian Legion Branch 126 (Preston) during their annual Decoration Day ceremonies.

🌺 Decoration Day – Cemetery Preparation

📅 Saturday, June 27, 2026

📍 Location: Parklawn Cemetery (750 Fountain St. N., Cambridge)⏰ Drop Off: 0845h⏰ Pick Up: 1200h

👕 Dress: Civilian attire that can get dirty.

🍕 Pizza lunch will be provided.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Staff, cadets, volunteers, parents, and family members are welcome to assist with cemetery preparations.

📍 Location: Parklawn Cemetery (750 Fountain St. N., Cambridge)⏰ Drop Off: 1300h⏰ Pick Up: 1430h

👕 Dress: C3B – Short Sleeve White Shirt, Ribbons, Name Tag, Black Pants, Belt, and Boots.

If you do not have C3B, wear your next available issued uniform.

No uniform? Wear a white shirt, black pants, or appropriate civilian attire.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families are encouraged to stay and watch the ceremony.

Decoration Day is an important opportunity to honour and remember Canada's Veterans while supporting our local Legion and community. We hope to see as many cadets as possible take part in this meaningful tradition.
